Personalized Care

I limit the number of children I care for to 6 at a time to ensure that each child receives personalized, individual attention, encouragement and praise. This is a tremendous benefit for your child.  When compared to traditional child care facilities that accept 12 children per teacher.

Services Offered

• Equipped to care for special needs children
• Assist with Potty Training
• Provide Transportation to and from school (if needed)
• Provide diapers and wipes
• Include all meals and snacks (healthy meals monitored by State food program)

Curriculum

I offer a wide range of educational activities, such as:

• Circle time – during circle time, the children learn to share their thoughts and ideas.  They learn things such as the days of the week, months of the year, the alphabet, numbers, etc.
• Story time – We read a story each day
• Craft time – During craft time, the children create projects that develop their creativity and fine motor skills.
• Books – There are numerous books available for the children to read throughout the course of the day.
• Music/Movement – During the course of the day, we have a music and movement session.
• Outdoor play – Weather permitting, the children spend at least 30 minutes outdoors in creative play.

Daily Routine

Below is a sample of a typical day at Deb's Daycare:

• Circle time (calendar, counting, ABCs, etc.)

• Organized Activity (arts & crafts, puzzle time)
• Free Play/Outside time (weather permitting)

• Books/TV/Quiet Play (while waiting to get picked up)
